Most organisations have disability policies. Very few have built the leadership capability and cultural norms to make those policies real. The DCF closes that gap, at every level of your organisation.
The Challenge
Most organisations can point to a disability inclusion policy. What they cannot point to is a manager who handled the conversation well, a board that asked the right questions, or a team culture where people feel safe to disclose. That is the gap the DCF is designed to close.
When a team member discloses a disability or requests an adjustment, most managers freeze. Not because they don't care, but because they were never given the language, the process, or the confidence to respond well. The gap is not intent — it is capability.
HR has written the policy. The intranet has the procedures. But when something actually happens, the policy stays on the intranet. Managers default to avoiding the topic, escalating to HR, or handling it poorly. Good policy without practical capability is just paperwork.
Most boards receive no meaningful reporting on disability inclusion. They approve policies without understanding what governance of disability confidence actually requires of them. That is not oversight — it is abdication of responsibility.
Meeting legal obligations around disability is necessary. It is not sufficient. Genuine disability confidence means building the culture, the conversations, and the capability that make your organisation a place where disabled people can thrive — not just survive.
What's Inside
The DCF is structured to build disability confidence where it matters most: in the daily decisions of managers, in the governance work of boards, and in the systems and policies that shape how your organisation operates.
Comprehensive, plain-English content that gives managers the language, the process, and the practical tools to handle disability-related conversations and decisions with confidence. Includes real scenarios, coaching questions, and step-by-step guidance for the moments that matter most.
A board-level companion document that translates disability confidence into governance language. Covers what boards need to know, what questions they should be asking of management, and how to provide meaningful oversight of disability inclusion across the organisation.
Ask a real question in plain English and get a direct, practical answer drawn from the full framework content, with references to every relevant section. No more searching through documents — just ask what you need to know.
A suite of enterprise-ready forms covering reasonable adjustment requests, disclosure conversations, review processes, and team leader planning. Designed to work alongside your existing HR systems, not replace them.
Framework-aligned policies covering reasonable adjustment, confidentiality and disclosure, workplace modification, and return-to-work planning. Written in plain English. Designed to be adapted to your organisation's context, not lifted wholesale.
Disability confidence is shaped by evolving legislation, practice standards, and lived experience. The DCF is updated as that landscape changes, so your subscription gives you access to current guidance, not a static document.
"Disability confidence is not about being perfect. It is about being willing — willing to ask, willing to learn, and willing to do better next time."Michael Linke — Linke Leadership
