The Leadership
Mastery Program

A structured development program for leaders who are ready to make a meaningful step forward. Curated frameworks, practical application, and regular 1:1 sessions — built around you, not a generic module list.

The Leadership Mastery Program is Linke Leadership's signature individual program. Over 12 weeks or more, it combines structured frameworks, practical leadership application, and regular 1:1 sessions into a coherent development pathway.

It draws on Harvard Business School frameworks applied over 30 years of executive leadership — including two CEO roles and senior positions across the disability, animal welfare, aviation, and community sectors.

The program adapts to the challenges you are actually facing. Each session is grounded in your specific context, not a curriculum designed for a hypothetical leader in a hypothetical situation.

"It is not a course. It is a guided experience built around the leader in front of me."

Four things that make this different

Most leadership development fails not because the content is wrong, but because it is designed for a generic leader. This program starts from the opposite assumption.

01

Grounded in real experience

Every framework used has been applied in practice across 30 years of executive leadership. Nothing here is theoretical or borrowed from a business school case that has never left the classroom.

02

Built around your context

No off-the-shelf modules applied uniformly. The program adapts to the challenges you are actually facing — whether that is a difficult board, a culture problem, a promotion, or a team that is not performing.

03

Practical, not academic

The focus is always on what you do differently on Monday morning. Frameworks are tools, not destinations. Every session ends with a specific application — something to do, test, or observe before the next one.

04

Candid and direct

You will get an honest perspective, not just validation. That is the point of having an external thinking partner — someone who has no stake in the internal politics and no reason to tell you what you want to hear.

A structured pathway, not a course

The program is organised into four phases. The pace adapts to you — some leaders move through phases quickly, others need more time in one area. The structure is a framework, not a schedule.

1

Baseline and orientation

A thorough starting-point assessment across the six Leadership Diagnostic Tool dimensions. We identify where you are, where you want to get to, and what is most in the way.

Weeks 1–2
2

Core frameworks

Introduction and application of the key frameworks relevant to your context — decision-making, communication, influence, resilience, and self-awareness. Applied to your actual situations, not case studies.

Weeks 3–7
3

Applied leadership

Focused work on the specific leadership challenges you are navigating. Regular sessions working through real decisions, conversations, and situations — with feedback and reflection built in.

Weeks 8–10
4

Integration and next steps

Consolidation of learning, a refreshed self-assessment to benchmark progress, and a clear personal leadership plan for the 90 days after the program ends.

Weeks 11–12+

Leaders at a meaningful inflection point

The program is not for everyone, and it is not designed to be. It works best for leaders who are at a genuine transition or challenge point — not those looking for reassurance that they are already doing it right.

Stepping up to executive level

Leaders moving into their first GM, CEO, or executive role and wanting to close the gap between their current skills and what the role demands.

New to the C-suite

Recently appointed executives navigating the specific challenges of leading at the top — board relationships, organisational politics, and the isolation that often comes with the role.

Leaders under pressure

Experienced leaders working through a significant organisational challenge — a restructure, a cultural problem, a difficult team, or a board relationship that is not working.

High-potential managers

Strong senior managers who have been earmarked for the next level and want structured development rather than waiting to learn on the job.

Leaders in transition

Professionals moving sector, returning to leadership after a break, or navigating an unexpected career shift who need both the strategy and the confidence to make the move.

For-purpose leaders

Leaders in NFP, disability, government-adjacent, and community sectors facing the specific pressures of mission-driven leadership with constrained resources and complex stakeholders.

Four steps from conversation to program

There is no application form and no pitch call. The starting point is a direct conversation about where you are and whether this program makes sense for your situation.

2

Program design

If it is the right fit, we design the program structure together around your goals and constraints.

3

You complete the Leadership Diagnostic Tool and we debrief the results in the first session.

4
